This was the original planned route to Alaska, shown in RED, and the revised route shown in BLUE. The blue dot LOCATIONS in America were all reached. See the Mission POSSIBLE Tour (MPT4) ROUTE menu above, to see the actual, exact GPS data for every day of the tour from Orlando to Alaska.
When the state of Montana was reached the 3rd week of July, the Canadian border between the U.S. and Canada was still closed per Canadian covid-19 restrictions. What to do?!?
An idea was suggested that a hard left be taken at Missoula, continuing to Seattle and Bellingham, Washington, to catch a ferry to Alaska. Great idea! See Day 111 of the BLOG for more details about that decision.
Especially after the past crazy year of 2020, we have witnessed dire needs by the Deaf, Youth, and Families to re-establish foundations, to clarify within themselves what is right, and good. And if our FAMILIES, if our CITIES, if our COUNTRY wants to be strong and resilient again, we MUST return to these basics.
Our NAME says it all: WORD-INSPIRED-FAMILY-INVOLVEMENT.
The WiFi Pedalers.
The older we get, the more convinced we are of the AUTHORITY of the Word of God, of the Bible, and the VALUE that studying it, and memorizing it holds.
The past year of 2020 was a tough year for EVERYBODY. Every single one of us has a story!
And yet Peter, one of Jesus’ closest disciples, wrote to Christians who were suffering, to ENCOURAGE them, and to assure them that their TRIALS were part of God’s GRACE for them. (See 1 Peter 5:12)
He also reminded them that EACH of them had been given a GIFT, from God’s GREAT VARIETY of spiritual gifts. (1 Peter 4:10) It might be for a lifetime, or it might be for a specific season, but EACH of us HAS been given a gift, to serve and help others.....what is YOUR gift?
If you don’t know....ASK Him!
Throughout this 4th Mission POSSIBLE Tour, Jon asked people of all ages, colors, and sizes, what THEIR gift was?!??!!!
Jon literally engaged THOUSANDS of people on this 143 day journey, handing out the little “It Ain’t Too Late” pamphlets (shown above) about the Mission POSSIBLE Tours, and encouraging people to discover and USE their gifts.
He also encouraged dedicated Christians to get MORE into the Word, to read MORE, and to memorize MORE. Jon completed memorizing the book of 1 Peter this past summer, and is currently working on 2 Peter. He has the whole Sermon on the Mount memorized, and actually camped one night by Grand Teton National Park with a family whose 20-something son Peter had ALSO just finished memorizing the entire Sermon on the Mount!
Bravo! (See Day 106 for details.)
Bottom line, with this Tour we demonstrated to the Deaf community, and the "elderly" community, to ANYONE who'll listen, that ALL things ARE POSSIBLE with GOD [even if it means climbing over and thru the Cascade Mountains! ]
And we will continue to share with others that with God, ALL things are possible, thru our non-profit, God's Hands Agency, Inc.
And if you are able to help support us in this cause, your gifts and contributions will sincerely be appreciated. THANK YOU!
